Who We Are
Rational Growth is a data-driven content platform dedicated to one simple idea: better thinking leads to better outcomes. We sit at the intersection of behavioral science, education research, and practical self-improvement — cutting through the noise of productivity hype to share what the evidence actually says.
Rational Growth is published by Seokhui Lee, a science teacher and Seoul National University graduate. This blog was built by an educator who got tired of self-help content that felt good but did not hold up to scrutiny. Every article on this site starts with a question, not an answer.
Our Expertise Areas
- ADHD & Focus — Evidence-based strategies for attention regulation, executive function, and neurodiversity in everyday life. We review clinical research and translate it into actionable guidance.
- Education & Teaching — Classroom strategies grounded in cognitive science. Written from a decade of frontline teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Rational Growth & Mental Models — Decision-making frameworks, cognitive biases, and the psychology of behavior change. We draw on behavioral economics, cognitive psychology, and philosophy.
- Investment Insights — Quantitative analysis and backtested strategies. All data is sourced from reputable financial databases. Nothing here is investment advice.
- Health & Science — Longevity research, exercise science, and nutrition — filtered through PubMed, not wellness influencers. We cite primary sources.
- Tech & Tools — Honest comparisons and practical guides for productivity tools, AI applications, and automation. Real-world tested, not sponsored.
Our Content Process
Every article on Rational Growth goes through a defined production process before publication:
- Research phase — We start with primary sources: peer-reviewed journals, government datasets, and original research. We use Google Scholar, PubMed, and SSRN for academic content.
- Citation check — All factual claims are linked to sources. We use inline citation numbers [1] and maintain a References section at the end of each article. Dead links are verified before publishing.
- Tone review — AI-assisted drafts are human-reviewed for generic phrasing, overused transitions, and lack of personal perspective. We flag and remove AI clichés.
- Accuracy disclaimer — Medical and financial content includes explicit disclaimers. We are not licensed medical professionals or registered investment advisors.
- Update cycle — Articles with time-sensitive data are reviewed annually and updated with new research.
